As Yılmaz Machine, we continue to combine our extensive experience in production technologies with the vision of digital transformation, which is the future of the industry. Inline with this vision, we proudly supported the UTIS Symposium once again this year as a “Silver Sponsor”, continuing our collaboration that began in 2019. Together with the Turkish Machinery Industry Digital Transformation Association, in which our Board Member Mahmut Yılmaz also plays an active role, we have formed a meaningful alliance for the digitalization of our machine industry. The International Congress on Machining (UTIS) establishes a crucial link between academia and industry, focusing on machining, advanced manufacturing technologies, and R&D. Last year’s event featured a total of 71 presentations, thematic sessions, workshops, and panels, with many industry players sharing their experiences. This year’s UTIS 2025, held in Antalya between October 30 and November 2, once again became a hub for project collaborations and sectoral sharing.
UTIS is not only an opportunity for companies to gain technical knowledge, but also an important opportunity for networking, developing partnerships, participating in R&D projects, and technology transfer. Increasing brand visibility and prestige through sponsorship is also an important gain for companies. Turkish Machinery Industry Digital Transformation Association, is a non-governmental organization that aims to lead the adaptation of the Turkish machinery sector to the digital age. It promotes the integration of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, IoT, digital twins, automation systems, augmented reality, sensor-based monitoring, process simulation, and cybersecurity into industrial applications. Being part of the association, participating in projects that guide our sector, and becoming part of the digital transformation ecosystem is also an important opportunity for us.
